Worrying. Doesn’t look anywhere near ready to be the main man once Kev leaves.

Attitude been appalling the last few weeks as well, don’t think I’ve seen a player this petulant since Pep took over (Cancelo maybe).
 
We should be relying on him now. He was excellent last season but he’s got to decide if he wants to be one of the best. He has the technical ability and he has the stamina but he’s looks like he just can’t be arsed.

I don’t know him, I don’t know if he’s having a hard time with something off the pitch but he cannot keep doing what he’s doing if he wants to be considered a top player.

I’m desperate for him to be the main man but he’s regressed years this season.
 
Disappointing

With Erling out, we needed him to take over. The rest of the team was poor, yes, but I've seen Kev, merlin, Yaya, etc put in performances when situation(s) was dire.
 
Phil throwing his arms up after a failed pass then walking back on transitions has turned into a much too frequent occurrence. Seems like he's got a shitty attitude every match.

Not sure. Numbers obviously very good but still don’t think he’d have carried us to the title had De Bruyne not been there and that’s the reality we have to face next season. Hope he proves me wrong obviously.

His goals did carry us to the title, just like Gundos did towards the end of the treble season.
 
We’ve looked to him to step up and carry the team this season but he can’t do it. IMO Phil will never be City captain and I don’t mean that nastily. He’s a supremely talented player, so skilful and graceful, but he’s not a leader on or off the pitch.

He seems as shocked and bewildered as the fans because we all know he bleeds Blue. But we need a leader. It’s probably time to accept Phil ain’t going to be the one to get us out of this mess and hope he gets back to form when the rest of the team does.

We owe him a lot for last season and he’ll always be one of my favourites. He’s become a lightning rod for the fans frustration this year and it’s depressing.
 
He's been our worst player this season (alright it's probably Kovacic then him) and that's mainly because he has no excuses.

Gundo, Bernardo, Kev, they're all getting on, legs have gone, it's understandable.

But Phil is 20-fucking-4, he should be running the team, running the league with his natural ability but this season has been embarrassing.

If he has an underlying injury and something difficult going on in his personal life I can forgive it somewhat but without that knowledge, he's been so poor.
 
He does need to show a lot more no doubt. However he looks bewildered by those around him , im not surprised he throws his arms up some of the decisions made some of the other players would cause me to do the same particularly when hes wide open

On the money.
 
I’m only going to mention this once and hope it’s a one-off but his effort levels for Mbappe’s third goal were appalling. Whether he’s been poorly for a while or not, I’m not having that level of effort from him. If he’s too unready to play after being poorly, then don’t play him.

He was our best at running and pressing before.

Either he's been run into the ground or is lacking motivation.

Never thought I'd say this but Jude looks a better player at the moment than him.. *shocked to say that*
