His place in the England team for the World Cup could and will be under threat if he doesn't get his head out of his arse.

Said it before, he's only ever played senior football under one man at club level and is molded to play for him...

That's why when we struggle for a period of time, so does Phil. Fully explains why he isn't really the same for England too..

I think he's been coached that much to play for Pep that he can't break out of that, so his form more or less relies on the form of the team as a whole. Some plays can be in form in a struggling team. I don't think Phil can, not because he lacks the technical ability, I just don't think he knows how to because of the above reasons.

Lazy little fucker who prefers to dangle his leg into tackles than actually get involved. Kev came on and did more pressing in the first 5 seconds than Foden did altogether.

Of course, I'm more thinking of next season, he's been allowed this drop off but next year it can't happen.

But he shouldn't have been allowed to drop off. He's been given an exceptionally easy ride at City this season by Pep and the fans.

If he wasn't a home product from Stockport, he'd have been out of the starting line-up all season.

He's 'in his prime', but he's nothing special and not good enough to change a game at this or international level. He's turning out to be just another average player.

People’s agenda against Foden is fucking ridiculous.

Only had 14 fucking minutes and people are acting like he’s the problem. The run he made to win the free kick was absolutely brilliant.

He was our best player after the new year playing as a 10, then he got fucked around and moved back out wide.

People wonder why his form dips when he’s not given a consistent position today.

But people calling him out today need to have a word with themselves. Just a weird agenda and nothing more.

No agenda here mate. Just pointing out something that has become very obvious this season.

As I've said before, whatever the reason(s) behind it, it can't be denied that Phil Foden’s performance levels have dropped off a cliff.

Other than the occasional shot or very occasional dribble, he looks out of his depth in most games.

He was coming into his own in January, won the club’s player of the month. He was playing as a 10 or inside on the wing.

He’s not played that position once since then?

He’s been fucked around, played on the left, false 9, stuck wide right with no overlap, not once has he played in his correct position.

He’s not even been given a consistent run in any position at all, the default seems to be to move Foden around, all whilst accommodating players who are performing piss poor in Foden’s best position week in week out.

He can basically only play in 2 positions these days as he’s not got the pace for the left anymore and not got a lot of things to play as an 8. So it’s number 10 or from the right. The fact he’s not been able to nail down either spot in such a poor team this season speaks volumes.

If there are no 'external' reasons, and it's not Phil's fault, there's really only one person to blame then...

And that's something that some City fans are finally starting to realise, and the rest will have to come to terms with.
