Sad gits. I have no idea, but I'm guessing the weed is probably expensive enough and they paid £45 to go and sit there smoking.

Platt Lane had a good surface, does not burn you, a long polyester/polypropelene blend with a denier which is not too coarse.

There were adverts in today's Advertiser, asking for 6-a-side teams to join a league playing on some new 3G pitches at Wright Robinson Sports College. Dunno what they're like though! Here was the website on the advert:

I play at Powerleague in Stockport. Good surfaces, referees aren't brilliant, but then they never are, really.

Decent enough and there's always a team who need a player.

yeah it's absolutely roasting in there, but it's just convenient cos we've been going there for years and it's reasonably close
