Jack has been great, no disputing that, but I am not sure there is a player in world football right now that can effectively play in so many positions/roles as John has this season, much less an english one.

At some points against Madrid he was playing centre forward and winger!

That’s Stones playing at a very high level as a CB, RB, RWB, DM, CM, RW, CF.

Pure brilliance and perhaps the archetypal Pep player. Reckon, if Pep could, he’d play ten John Stones across all outfield positions.

Stones is brilliant. He may be the best English player right now but just not miles better than Jack or Phil Foden...

*falls off chair laughing* I respect your opinion @OB1 but totally disagree! He is maybe not many miles better than Jack and Phil but he’s definitely better than them….at this moment. They may eventually catch him but it will be a while yet. :-) :-)

I'm not sure that we are in total disagreement but it's a nice "problem" to have.
