50 years since man landed on the Moon

Don't know if anybody has seen this before, but this is the speech prepared for Nixon to deliver to the world in the event that the astronauts died up there.

I think it's pretty beautiful, to be honest.
Poor Michael Collins, not even a mention.

Who filmed Armstrong getting out?

Just a guess but

Every previous attempt was disastrous. Yet they suddenly nail it...right when politically they needed to. Funny that. Not a chance they went.
This was their first attempt at landing on the moon! Apollo 1 to 10 were a roaring success. So congratulations, every part of your post is wrong

Poor Michael Collins, not even a mention.
The message was made as they were unsure whether the lunar module would land and take off successfully. As Collins wasn’t going to be in the lunar module they were confident he would be fine as per previous Apollo missions. Collins was one of the only people on the planet with no access to watching the moon landings as at the time he was orbiting around the moon.
