Sergio's goalscoring exploits are justly famed, but one City player - who NEVER gets a mention in this forum - scored 56 goals in 76 competitive games, which is a fantastic ratio. Better even than Barry Conlon.

As I recall, he left because, as he put it, he couldn't "sit around waiting for City to become great". He went to Palace (I think) and sank without trace, and City did become great. Stupid, but what a goalscorer.

I'm sure every Blue knows who he is, even if they never saw him. So I won't insult your intelligence by giving his name.

Yes, they were - I remember one Boxing day DK, Murray & Matt Gray put eight past Scunny at Maine Road.

Yes,then 2 days later we put 4 past them at The Old Show Ground.It was 63/64 season,I also remember going to Huddersfield that season we played in a all gold away strip.
