Everyone is going on like there will be a riot, football has changed since the 80's.


There might be one or two scraps between people after the game, but a lot of you are getting carried away.

Always best to stay alert where Leeds and rags are concerned .....

few of their true yobs wear any colours , neither club has truly moved on from the hooligan age , and the stations in Manchester on that Saturday could be tricky areas ... especially with 6,000 of them likely to attend the game.

100% correct football has changed, however a large number of Leeds and Millwall fans still think it is 1985. Trust me, this will be a big jolly boys outing for Leeds and their idiotic contingent.

Their first ever visit to the Etihad and we haven't met them for years. We have history with them and combine this with a comfortable City win. The GMP will have it boxed off at the stadium with Leeds kept in after the game but they will have a busy day with them as they will be playing up no doubt about it.

I'm recalling a 1-1 draw at ours? They led, Sibierski came on as a sub to a chorus of boos (Barton had been playing well) and then French Toni scored with his 50p head. I *think* that's Leeds' only visit to The Etihad but there might be one more.

I watched both Spurs and Liverpool on Fox Soccer Channel here in USA not take their lower division opponents seriously and they are no longer in the cup. Leeds looked pretty good against Spurs and I hope City don't overlook them. On paper City should beat Leeds easily but then, again, the game is played on the pitch. I'm really glad we are not playing Oldham at their place.

Actually, I'm not sure it was Leeds. It was a night match and he was wearing a suit of all things. That's all I remember. He must have been off his face on something.

Leeds fan here just for a bit of banter not to wind anyone up, we had a lot of animosity with you in the past but for Leeds fans that has been severely diluted since youve started taking trophies from the other lot so now a lot have Leeds fans have a lot of respect for you. For the record i expect a stuffing but youll probably find the more we are getting beat the louder our fans will be as there will be no tension.
For anyone thinking it will be 6000 idiots coming across the pennines will be wrong, we never have general sale so all will be season ticket holders and members, i actually expect it to be good natured due to the mutual hatred of a certain club.

The Lad who decked Chris Kirkland at Hillsborough earlier this season was already serving a ban. Ditto Man U****d fans at our derby being arrested for ban evasion. It's easy enough to get tickets if you ask around.

So I'm reading there's not a huge amount of fans behind Neil Warnock. How come? His record of promoting Clubs is exceptional.
