Can't say anything as I thought they were the most likely to grab fourth spot. With Arsenal losing Fabregas and Nasri, I was expecting them to have been weakened more than they have. Spurs have been a bit of an unexpected oddity. I doubt few people out there were thinking they'd be more of a title threat than Chelsea this season. Liverpool finished last season strongly and made some new signings so, on balance, I thought they'd get it over Arsenal with Spurs finishing 6th. Can't believe how many thought 3rd for Liverpool though and Phil Thompson even had them above us. That's inexcusably shit punditry.

Balotelli has never missed a penalty. I must admit that I'm nervous every time he steps up, but the bloke is absolutely unflappable - check out the one against Spurs. RVP got a lot of press for his pen this weekend, but Mario takes the piss every time he steps up. Best penalty taker in the Prem.

Probably because he's one of the best penalty takers going and has never missed in his professional career. Aguero has taken a couple though, but Mario will always take them when he's playing and rightfully so.

It's a fantastic return. Great first season. Does anyone have stats for Torres' first season? Can't be far of a similar impact?

Torres hit 24 in his first season which is still the record for the most prolific foreign goal scorer ever in a debut season.
