7 points off the top in early January, 2019. Champions.

8 points off the top in April, 2012. Champions.

9 points off the top in November, 2019...

Many things are against us: injuries, PGMOL..., but we can do it again.

Pep is not one to give up on the league in November/December.

Liverpool might go through injuries, periods of bad form, fatigue, etc. Their fixture list is difficult and the squad not so big. Klopp doesn't rotate as much as Pep, they might drop their level unexpectedly like Klopp's Dortmund in 14/15.

We're now in a much better situation than in April 2012.

Of course, we can't win every time we are in a losing position. But if there is a team that can fight until the end, it's us.

So, can we win the title again? Is that realistic?

With VAR in place ? No

Nice positive thread and we know we are more than good enough to get it done again but i fear this season is the step too far and too much is against us.

Unlucky with injuries and being cheated by the officials who are seemingly an extension of a PL/FA/UEFA/FIFA establishment mandate to do us in any way they can.

Would be magnificent if we can do it again though just to see even more piss boil!

Michael Oliver, Anthony Taylor, Lee Mason, Mike Riley and friends say hi

Not a chance this season mate, we're going to drop many more points between now and the end of the season, so it might mean Liverpool dropping 20-25 points and that isn't happening. We'll have to go all out for the champs league, but with our defence the way it is, I wouldn't put 50p on that. A revamp of the squad next summer should see us fine again.

I think we are going to win the title if we win the next 5-6 games which are difficult. Win them, Liverpoll will see we are determined to fight, the thought that they might miss on the title will trouble them and the rest will be history :) Maybe too good to be true, but with this team you never know.

I remember Real being many points off Barca when Zidane took over 1st time and nearly pipped them to the title. And Barca had Messi, Neymar and Suarez...No VAR, but sudden collapses happen in football. Barca lost 3 games in a row a month before the end that season and Real nearly won from an impossible position. Believe and get behind the team :)
