hi AmorinThere’s not a player in the squad that is playing well in this system. The system is the problem.

I think Phil needs to play more as an 8 than a 10, personally.I get the feeling his best position is the exact position Foden plays in.
Can we play both together?
Alvarez was wasted at city ... he was a natural goalscorer , but pep tried to convert him to a Muller type role .Don’t agree with that at all no matter how well he is doing for Atletico at the moment.
I think we’d get run though at will with that side though.I think Phil needs to play more as an 8 than a 10, personally.
When Rodri returns, my midfield, at this point, would be Rodri, Gonzo, Foden.
I'd have Bobb and Marmoush as my tens.
And I would have Sav and Doku as wingers.
I am sure we will augment that line-up in the summer.
Isn’t bobb really a winger though?I think Phil needs to play more as an 8 than a 10, personally.

In the EDS, he played across the front line.Isn’t bobb really a winger though?
Bobb is too young to pigeonhole.Isn’t bobb really a winger though?
I'd play the three together with a false nine option, or with Haaland but no ten.I think we’d get run though at will with that side though.
We’d have Rodri and Foden as our midfield…
We just need more legs and bite in midfield.I'd play the three together with a false nine option, or with Haaland but no ten.
There is also the option of a back three - Gvardiol/Dias/Khusanov - for example.
Haaland needs more support because if the wingers are consistently doubled-up on, there has to be space centrally.
He was bought as a striker, that’s what his best position should be, If not we should have never even bought him.I get the feeling his best position is the exact position Foden plays in.

He’s a 10. He plays behind a 9.He was bought as a striker, that’s what his best position should be, If not we should have never even bought him.
He actually played as an inverted LW im that game and in his best games. He’s a 10. He plays behind a 9.
Hence his best game was against Newcastle, where he linked up with Haaland superbly.
He is terrific striker of the ball, great on the counter and set-piece specialis. He played effectively wit Etike as a tandem for Frankfurt. t. Pep will turn him into the new Grealish soon. His movement is good but it's pointless when nobody looks for it. He'll stop doing it soon just as haaland did unless we start fucking using it.
I'm not quite sure how he scored so many in Germany though as the lad is not displaying natural goalscoring instincts. Seems to prefer to go and drift out wide and join the other 4 players on the wing within 10 yards of each other over getting himself into the box.
The confusing bit is I don’t think he is Haalands back up. He didn’t play up top against Liverpool or Madrid away.I think this guy is a top player and was excited when we got him. I just struggle to see where he fits in? Does he play on the left or does he play as the 10 and we don’t go for one in the summer? He just doesn’t create enough to be a 10. He’s too good to just be Haalands back up.

The context doesn't help him at all, he's shown very interesting things when he played, specially as a starter, he's definitely not part of the problem.System needs to change but Marmoush is a top player.
