7 | Omar Marmoush - 2025/26

Let's face it, hes fucking shite but has a great shot on him

No! We can’t give up on him as well. Him, Reijnders, Savio etc. if we give up on them all they’ll be no one left!

He’s got to start tomorrow - if not, then against who wouldn’t be comfortable playing him against?

He's been here for almost a year now, and apart from the home game against Newcastle he's just not been up to the standard that a club with our standing should be expecting, nothing against the lad but he's had long enough to show what he's got and it's just not happening

He’s been shunted around and had injuries this season that haven’t helped. He knows where the net is, unlike most of our players, so I think there is definitely a place for him. It least for now….

I find it staggering that Pep and the team didn’t notice that his first touch wasnt great before we signed him.
Yep, it makes a mockery of the apparent in depth scouting of a player we do before signing them, it looks like they seen his goal tally and said yep that will do.
Anyway as long as he's in a blue shirt I will hope for the best, and after me slating him on here, I'm off to stick a tenner on him getting a hatrick tomorrow

Rewind 1 year. We were in deep shit, a player banging them in was available. They probably put it in the so-what column and thought they could work on it

It’s impossible to play a two-striker system with Haaland in the team. He exclusively occupies the central areas. Álvarez and Palmer have both improved since leaving City. Pep was stifling their creativity; both of them are now specialist free-kick/penalty takers for their teams
I don't disagree with you. But Alvarez was also very good at City. He played the rotation/backup ST role better than Marmoush is. He's more versatile as well.

City need a more natural backup for Haaland. Someone who doesn't mind being a rotation player. A box ST with decent technical ability.

Can see why he only gets a few minutes here and there, he's completely Lightweight and just gets brushed off the ball

Had a golden chance when he came on, but I think he was scared of heading it with any desire

Oh please, like Savinho, Bobb and Reijnders have done a fucking thing this season, and they've all got far more time than him, he'll barely do a fucking thing if he always comes on at the 85th minute, should leave in January for everyone's sake.

Neither of us see them in training every single day

All I'm saying is give him proper time on the pitch and than we can judge him, he showed last season that he can find the net, but he's not going to do shit if he comes after 85 plus minutes every game, and when he has the odd start it's with that shower behind him like against Leverkusen.

Missed a sitter then walked back instead of sprinting until Pep put a rocket up his arse for being lazy.

I suspect this past week hasn’t put him back in Pep’s good books - for whatever reason he’s out of them.

It was a good chance but it wasn't a sitter, and he'll barely do anything if he's always a sub in the 85th minute.
