Got in on the scoring act and if he keeps doing that you can ignore the rest as we have done for 18 months but he was the only one whose overall game was poor tonight.

I thought he and Mahrez had very similar performances. Both terrible until the Mahrez goal. Both improved in the 2nd half without really ripping up trees.

Massively underperforming but I guess we just have to hope that a goal and an assist kick-starts his season. As a team we are looking very, very strong. If we can add an in-form Sterling to the mix, I can’t see anyone getting anywhere near us.

He actually played some solid crosses and passes in the first, his assist for Mahrez being one. Far from his best but I hope it did good for his confidence.

when you watch someone like Saka you see who the future is. A fairly dismal performance from Raz tempered by managing to nab a very Raz goal.

His goal might look like just a tap-in but the awareness of the run and positioning to do the tap-in is Sterling at his best. More of that please.

At the start of the season almost everyone was well below their usual standard. Then De Bruyne clicked back into gear, and Gundogan, Stones and Cancelo, and more recently Rodri, Zinchenko and Bernardo too.

The three players left who Pep hasn't quite pulled out of their bad form are Jesus, Mahrez and Sterling. Today was a positive step for the latter two. Sterling will be back to his best soon. If John Stones can get back to world-class form then Raheem definitely can. That goal tonight was a classic Sterling goal, he'll get at least ten more this season no problem.

6 goals 4 assists this season so far. If you remove pens (yes I know he sucks at them and its a skill in itselfs) he has only one less goal involvement than Salah and two more than Mane. While his general play has been poor he's still putting up decent numbers and if you compare him to other wingers this season I can only think of Grealish (and Son if you count him as a winger) that's actually clear of him.

He does nothing in this team many other bang average wingers couldn't,while plenty would offer us more.
