Agree.

A world class player performs at a consistently high level week after week. Let's be honest...Sterling is nowhere near that level. How many brilliant games has he played this season??. Quite frankly, he looks like a very average player most of the time. It's sad because I really thought he was developing into something very special a couple of years ago.
He's not world class

he is shite.
He can’t even kick a ball properly.
Is this his 6th year with us? He’s been good for 2 of them. Playing to his strengths on the right hand side using his pace and arriving in the box getting absolutely peppered with chances from Kev, Dave and leeroy.
He hasn’t got the technical ability to play anywhere else and never has had.

That i agree with , i accept he is currently poor , we dont know why , i am happy to discuss with calm and rational people

Even the regular hardcore moaners / critics of Sterling would be delighted if he can find his previous best form , I think

:)-

You say that and yet when I presented my argument with data, all you could muster was Christ. In my comment for this match, I didn't call him any names, I didn't call for his head, didn't exaggerate anything. "I am happy to discuss with calm and rational people" is really great, just a happy little coincidence that all the calm people are the ones that agree with you and don't challenge your biases.

This system doesn't play to his very specific strengths at all. He's not running in behind, he's not arriving late to finish off tap-ins. He is receiving the ball to feet, too deep, too wide, and too slowly. If we're not playing in a way that maximizes his strengths and instead asks him to do all the things he's weakest at, we might as well just find someone else

I've criticised Sterling, Jesus, Bernardo, Mendy, Pep. I'm being consistent...

You can compare 2 Sterling seasons for his contribution much moreso than just claim if he wasn't there the guy in his place wouldn't have done as good, the other lad could have done better...who knows. All I know is Raz made much bigger contributions in previous seasons and has been way below an acceptable level for 18 months.

You ignore 9 of his 20 league goals last year came in project restart when the title was gone, so largely irrelevant. Another 6 before the end of September 2019, so only 5 league goals in 18 league games between October & March and that was the telling spell last season. Contrast to 17/18 where if we needed a goal to get a result between August-January he was the one who got it. Then he shit the bed in the 3-2 v the Rags and he's never really had the same mental edge ever since.
We still had to get to second ,if aunty had bollocks arguement for if he didnt get the goals someone else would
