Anyone remember the Monaco 2nd leg un the first season where he messed up many times which could of put us through. Today was that version of Sterling. Hopefully he becomes decisive again at some point when in certain positions.

Sterling is his own worst enemy, always has been. At this level mentality will make or break you.

not buying it. Even his better moments were the usual start running past someone, either dribble back into them and lose the ball or on a special occasion actually get past them, and then he'd still contrive to miss.

I thought he looked better last yesterday, maybe sometimes he tries a bit too hard, which was evident.

Did some positive things, but there was a few times where he simply failed to do anything. He can't seem to decide what to do, and the chance is gone before he's done anything.

Anyway, I thought he was better overall yesterday than he has been of late.
