Honestly I don't care what the rumours are and whether he can turn it around or not. I am beyond caring.

I've seen him fuck things up so many times now, I just laugh. As I did with his usual keystone cops moment yesterday. I hope we sell him.

Raheem's main problem is Pep dreaming of 11 midfielders or "pure players" as he said, including keeper.

Raheem's ball touch is on a lower level compared to our main men, except maybe Mendy, Laporte or Walker.

As long as he could compensate weaknesses by workrate or physicality it's ok, but atm that's not the case anymore.

Walker was a similar case - but as I said weeks ago, Walker has massively (sic!) improved his technical game. His passing speed is sharp and balanced, also exactly down the side line, e.g. to Mahrez.

The rest of the squad has taken off and Raz can't follow.
IMO Pep is losing patience. We'll see come summer.

Sad to see Raz leaving the pitch untouched by CL final celebrations on one of the biggest nights in club history...

Agreed. It was quite sad seing him not even crack a grin at the end.
I thought in mid season it may have just been fatigue as he has played a lot of football over the past few years, but it looks more like he is struggling adapting to the new system. its a shame cos he has been so good for us for so long.

I think you get the best out of Sterling when you have a striker on the pitch to be the focal point. For ages, Mahrez has been the player that was clearly talented by seemed to not quite fit the system. Now the system is more suited to Mahrez and Sterling is struggling a bit more. I reckon if someone like Haaland comes in, we'll see Sterling back to his best.

Having said that, there's always been that feeling that Sterling wants to play abroad at some point, so I wouldn't begrudge him a move if he wants it. I'm definitely not going to write him off after one poor season though given the heights he's reached for us previously.

If there is one player who really misses having David Silva in the team it is Raheem. David made other players look better and played the tight spaces just behind the forwards so well, his link play was incredible. Some have adapted to the post Silva period better - for Raheem he seems to need several chances to actually convert and seems to be trying too hard in front of goal.

As others have alluded to - I maybe wrong or reading too much into it but he looks as though he has made up his mind to move on. To be fair he said a while back he always wanted to go to Spain to play abroad and I think it will happen. Despite all of that he has been a really good player for us. He scored some very key goals to help win the title two years ago and it would be foolhardy to believe he has suddenly become a poor player. I could see him doing very well with a new challenge as a lot of what happens on the pitch at the elite level is effected by such small margins in the mind.

I would be happy if he stays and if he does am sure he will be important again but if he leaves I wish him well and would thank him for some fantastic moments.

I dont see any similarity to Walker's situation.Even when struggling for form,Walker always had the quality of athleticism and physicality,he never stopped being a useful asset and always contributed to some decent degree.
Sterling has been a passenger in many games, his presence could easily have been missed,he doesnt offer influence like most others, certainly not the amount he should be doing.

Let's see what Saturday brings,i'm sure he'll start.

I don't know why so many of you would give up on him.

As far as I remember, he was extremely good last season and the season before. He's having a hard time with the new system, but like many others in your team he can turn it around. He's still young.
