There's more to it mate - He could have said that he gets more space or whatever. "lot of different reasons" suggests something is not right
Does it fuck as like ... in your head maybe, but nothing of the sort.
Too many daft fuckers looking for negative spins when theres fuck all there.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him in the striker role in a similar fashion to Werner where he can use his pace more. Play Jesus on the wings.

He makes so many chances for himself centrally, and looks more awkward out wide.

She asked him if he had justified his selection
Yeah i heard that, was wondering if id missed something else......and in fairness, the vast majority didnt believe he did justify his place prior to the game.
He has hopefully gone some way to fix that.

I felt oddly emotional for him when that went in. Nothing, absolutely nothing - seems to have gone for him recently despite giving 100% effort and perhaps even trying too hard. The one thing you can never accuse him of is hiding. Well done Raz.
Sterling is frustrating and has shortcomings in his game. However, he comes across as a likeable, decent person and today he had a good game. Keep it up Raz.

Better than anyone else's on the pitch today, and good enough to turn a draw into a win in a competitive international.
You must be joking. His passing was poor, he miscontrolled repeatedly. He did however give it his all and he won the game by as so often for us being in the right place at the right time.
But Mount, Phillips, Ming's, Walker and even Foden while on the pitch played better.

They really didn’t.

I suppose I'm blinded to his overall shitness by the fact he scored the winning goal.

He was shite and even his goal was lucky, people big him up well beyond reason.

Made up for him. Been working this afternoon and just tuned in to see the score. He's not been great, but he's a very honest player. I hope he'll stay and fight for his place with us, personally.
How good were England, overall?

The majority of supporters will be pleased for him, this season has been very difficult for him, and he was clearly thrilled to have scored the goal.

His detractors will find fault in every performance - it is just that.
