He has scored many last min goals to get us the win , short memory there
I can recall 1 against Southampton & a late winner in Schalke, both years ago, not sure there have been "many" others in more recent times, indicative perhaps of the trend of his performances tailing off.

Yeah that’s it. Unfortunately hitting the 4th goal against Watford or the 5th against Sporting isn’t really what puts you down as one of the greats.
It’s big moments in big games that are teetering on a knife edge where the top players produce moments of brilliance to decide a game. Has Sterling ever done that?
I can certainly remember several chances he’s spurned however.

Southampton at home 96th min a few years back, apart from that not too many more in the league

It’s his decision making whilst one on one, hardly ever scores, put him on edge of box with only one choice and he can curl it in, he works hard and had great feet, but if it’s him on the break he panics.

And who's to say a better player wouldn't have made the need for a last gasp winner unnecessary, or have scored it themselves. It's not a him or nothing scenario.

When he’s time to think the move / chance is over almost every time

He could have curled one in injury time yesterday but hit it straight at the keeper

I try to like him but my heart sinks when he’s picked against the dippers. He wasn’t the only one who played shit but - apart from Steffen possibly - his shit contribution was the most predictable.
To think the amount of stick Werner gets, he's probably got more important goals and assists in 2 seasons, than Raheem has in his club career. Also the less said about the way any decent defender or full back bullies him, the better.
