70 points

that's 11 from 18, meaning Spurs would need 12 from 18 and Liverpool and Villa 17 from 18 points.

Is it possible and realistic we can get those 11 and if so will it be enough?

Brum - 3 pts
West Ham - 3 pts
Spurs - 3 points
Arsenal 3 - points (they really, really struggled against Wolves to day. Imagine what Tevez and Ade will do to them)

Easy Peasy!

if we got 11 points we would finish fourth i think unless liverpool won all there games which is unlikely, however i think 3 wins and 2 draws is too much from our remaining fixtures, 9 points at the most would be my guess and this may still see us over the line

i will be more than happy with 11 from 18,with games against arsenal, norwich, spurs, villa, west ham fighting for there lives.only easy points home to birmingham.

brum are no pushovers, we will need to fight for every point(unless west ham are down when we face them) liverpool scare me as i can see us spurs norwich, villa, arsenal and chelsea all taking points off each other left right and centre

Historically our best 3 sides in terms of results achieved regardless of form or position are Birmingham, Villa and Norwich. Their record against us is similar to ours vs Arsenal.

Given that we have to play all 3 @ home plus Tott - it is our to take! :-)

win our home games were home and dry, if chelsea take the points off the pool and man u do there usual over spuds?

While this is a great thing for us fans to think about, I hope to God the players aren't doing the maths. Worst thing in the world would be for them to see the finish line - we need Mancini to keep their heads down, working full steam right through the last game. Although it's very unlikely we'll win all six, each individual game is very winnable, and they should approach each one that way.

haha i were wondering what you were on about when you said Norwich.

United look fooking stupid in that baby shit green.

up the glazers!! 4 more years!!....etc

Just done the Predictor thingy:

Win: Bham (h) 1-0, Villa (h) 3-1, Spurs (h) 2-1
Draw: Norwich (h) 1-1, WHU (a) 1-1
Lose: Arse (a) 0-2

This would give us 70 points and, based on my predicted other results, would put us 4 clear of Spurs and Liv on 66.

Done the predicator thing about a million times now throughout the season and always ends up with 4th place being won by getting 70 points. The key now is to win all our home games.
