If you can knit you don’t need a pattern to knit a scarf.

cause I do not see any reproduction of retro scarves, maybe each of us should knit on his own ..... :)

Finally got my Oxfox scarf, having despaired of it (I was almost sure that the parcel had got lost). It's very beautiful. The blue's got this kind of pre-faded look to it which somehow looks more authentically like the blue of the 60s and 70s to me than a more flashy sky blue.

That's the look. My photo actually makes the blue look deeper than it is. It's exactly that washed-out blue of your scarf. Authentically 60s/70s. First top I ever had (used to ponce around in front of the mirror with it, shameful to admit really) was the one without anything whatsoever on it, even the original badge, that they were wearing at the end of the 60s. That same blue.
Just out of curiosity – which year did you buy that? I've got the Easy Easy badge, incidentally, when I was still of an age to buy those things. Many moons ago. But none of the others.
My new scarf (which cost a bomb) is pure wool, though. So I'm hoping it'll keep me genuinely warm when those icy winds blow as I'm walking to the match along the towpath of the Ashton canal. It'll also help me strangle some of those fucking Canada geese that can get very stroppy with you when you're just minding your own business…they seem to think they own that path.
