That’s an odd one as the image was the proposed redevelopment of Maine Road that never happened.

Forget scarves from the 70's, what you need in your life is a blue and purple cushion, stacked high outside the Platt Lane stand, available for a moderate fee, preventing unnecessary suffering from the wood plank you would be sitting on.

I thought I had chucked this little beauty away. I brought it with me to the States over 32 years ago and it hung in my office until recently when I had a clearout and started working from home. Anyway, I guess I kept it along with the mirror I bought in the mid-70’s, which amazingly is still intact after travels afar.
