Least likely doesn’t mean never! One thing about aviation is “Never Say Never!” :-(That was @ChicagoBlue although I have to say I agreed with him.
It's scary to imagine what was going on in the flight deck if one pilot was fighting to stop the other pilot killing everyone.

I fly Alaska Airlines a lot, I’ve been on some pretty shoddy planes in the past.Interesting that the section that tore away is where the option of an extra door is. Alaska aircraft don’t have this door, so it suggests that the skin - or whatever they cover the door space with - isn’t strong enough.
