I really want to take your word as the truth. but there is this tiny problem of my eyes and 3 of the top 10 managers coaching today all thinking otherwise...

Let me see: Pep... Low... Klopp... the Stats... My eyes... VS ws01...

Tough choice there :)

Lol. How have they been going recently?. The stats aren't on your side either - not sure where you got that from. In fact as I recall you were shown the stats not too long ago, illustrating just how poor Gundogan was comparatively, and decided to have a little cry about them being put up, instead of facing the facts.

This is a done and dusted argument, mate. Gundogan isn't good enough for a team like us in our midfield. That won't change, no matter what he does against second rate opposition.

He and Rodri are the two biggest problems we have right now, just like they were last season.

If you don't see what Gundogan brings, then you don't understand football. You just want Xhaka.

I`m not generally happy with the double pivot or the players we have who play in it. IMO a fit and younger Fern would do the job better and would not stifle our creative genius by slowing down our passing and taking too many touches.

That being said, I thought Gundogan played better today although he misplace quite a few easy passes as usual, he had better energy and helped the creative play further forward

7/10

In regards an understanding there is an irony to your comment,as many can see what he brings to the team while also seeing what he lacks.

And,no,i suspect no one would want Xhaka.

Don't agree at all.

While that may be true, the people who only point out what he lacks seem to feign ignorance to what he brings, or, simply dont know, I think it's the latter based on their comments.

The Xhaka comment is because if people dont see Gundogan making tackles all game he isnt doing a good job.

He's not very good. Stop pretending that he is. An ok run against mainly low quality opposition doesn't change anything, especially since throughout it our midfield remains the biggest problem we have.

Gundogan isn't the answer to anything, and if he is, you're asking the wrong question.
Lets start at the beginning

Football is a team sport played by two teams of 11 players one of which is a goalkeeper. Are you still with me?

If you understand that we will move on to lesson 2

The hole your digging still not deep enough?

His lack of defensive ability is a secondary concern for me, actually...... so you're wrong.
