One of those players who is vastly underrated - some will only know that once he's gone. He's never going to tear around tackling people but when you need someone to receive the ball in tight spaces and keep it moving there are not many better. Having his best season for us - back to his Dortmund days best, seems like a classy guy off the pitch too.

He comes across in interview brilliantly,very humble and approachable.
 
He's always been class. Was an unsung hero in the 18/19 season after fernandinho got injured and the team rarely conceded in the final stretch with him playing mostly as the pivot. But like others in the team people's view of him as a player will never change irrespective of what he does.
 
I’ve been highly critical of Gundogan in the past.

His decent start of this season is culminating in a magnificent performance against Chelsea today. Consider me impressed and eating my hat. If we can have this Gundogan 90% of the time I’ll forgo the lack of blistering pace.
