He is a bit fitter, but his qualities haven't changed, he's the same Gundogan.
Calling him a passenger is an insult to the versatility he was bringing us before (that I mentioned in my post, he's now got settled time into a role, that's the improvement).
He's not.
And contrary to what his ardent supporters regularly maintained, he's now doing better as a #8 than he ever has as a #6. That's some real form reversal right there, since it was almost consistently ruled that he was awful at #8.
