The missus is a fair few years younger than me (I'm 36. she is 23).
Recently she's really got into 80s music and so I'm making a compilation of great songs that she probably wont be aware of.
She knows all the famous songs (the big hits etc) and she has a ruck of 'Best of the 80s' and 'Power Ballads of the 80s' type compilation albums. But within that decade there were so many brilliant songs that will be completely new to her.
To my great delight she recently has fallen head-over-heels in love with The Smiths but I've tried to steer her towards 'similar' tasteful fare (Joy Division, The Sundays, etc) to no avail. It seems, for her, its either Mozzer or proper cheesy pop.
So far I've included such gems as -

Amongst others.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
