Great news. He looked poor at times against Burnley but never let his head drop and I love that. Its not arrogance imo. Its just a maturity imo that you seldom see in boys so young. I hope he has a great career ahead of him.

Great news about the new contract. I do wonder sometimes how Pep decides which academy players to give opportunities to. Lewis and Garcia have been the only young players who have been given starts in big games as they are breaking through. I guess both have the “football intelligence“ that Pep values. Both lacked the physical maturity to be fully effective in the senior game imo.

Feel like he isn’t ready yet, but these experiences will do him good in the long run. We need to wait for him to get physically stronger as there is barely a single duel where he doesn’t end up on his arse. And with his back to goal he needs to play it first time more often, as he seems to want an extra touch too often and then doesn’t have the strength to resist the pressure that comes because of it. Just a matter of time but right now I think it’s still too soon for him. Just my opinion.

It probably doesn’t help he’s being played out of position. Whilst some of the issues you’ve highlighted are still there when he’s on the right he looks far more natural. All part of the learning process under Pep and thankfully it didn’t cost us any points
