Can you say much more about a player than that?

If KDB is rested and can play frequently up behind him, we should be pretty strong til the end of the season, we really should. Because with Ruben back, snapping and snarling, we will become a formidable physical outfit, building on Rodri's massive presence in the centre. Having Foden firing on all cylinders - can't underestimate his capability for hard work in the final third - would be the icing on the cake.

Sad to say, pretty much everyone else is going to have to fit in around that.

That's what we need form him against the big sides in the big games, this is the game we bought him for...not bashing the bottom clubs

Brilliant all around, was involved and battled constantly but also stayed as a focal point

The goals are what he’s here for but he was a man on a mission tonight, absolutely ragdolled Gabriel all night to the point he was diving about trying to get him sent off!

Clinical when needed too. A demon in the box.

He was dead on his feet by the end of it!
 
Honestly think if we can gain a bit of momentum now he's going to start bagging loads again. His last 10 games have been gruelling - Spurs twice, Chelsea twice, Arsenal twice, United - all well organised teams who can keep the ball away from him. We've not been brilliant and he's still scored 6 which is a rate that would win you the golden boot most seasons. This last 6 weeks have been about getting through unscathed so we can push on.

He'll be licking his lips looking at the next 10.
 
That's by far his most complete performance for us to date. we actually used the striker for once in something other than tapping it in. He's got so much to give to this side, it's criminal to not get him involved more, he terrorised the two centre backs.

going long with him isn't even more of a risk of losing the ball than our standard play out from the back given how sloppy we've become at that, put it into the space and he will get there, there's nobody on the planet who can match him for speed and strength. What a fucking player. Unleash the viking!
 
Arguably his best game for us and it came as a result of us being forced into twatting the ball long in panic due to Arsenal’s press. We should learn from that and actually plan to play direct more often instead of it happening against our will.
 
Almost feel sorry for the defenders, imagine him wrestling you as you race for a loose ball.

I'm bigger than him and i wouldn't fancy it!
