I didn't give a shit how many scores he will get this season, just don't get injured and score the goal when it really matter the most.

It may be more a case of Pep managing his game time to the club's advantage. He's had a spell (two, was it?) out with injury this season. Pep was probably thinking about not wanting to risk an injury to key men in what was, AT THAT TIME, a dead game. He almost definitely had an eye on wednesday night and the game in two weeks' time. I doubt it has anything to do with Haaland overshadowing the team. But yes, I totally see where you're coming from re those who have money riding on Haaland reaching a particular milestone.

It isn't. His injury record this season has been near impeccable. Dortmund's embarrassingly shite medical team couldn't keep a dog fit, let alone a footballer. Doesn't mean Haaland is crocked.

He tends not to be taken off until he's scored, or the game is under control, and this season is almost certain to be the most minutes he's ever played, so it makes absolute sense.
We have potentially 14 games left, and it wouldn't surprise me if he started 12, and it's possible he starts every single one. Makes absolute sense to take him off as soon as the games are safe, rather than make him play unnecessary extra minutes.

I wonder what his true worth is given that he guarantees at least 40 goals a season to a top club...and probably 30 in a team at the bottom of the table. Madrid would have to re-mortgage the bernabeau to get him. Or go back to sheik mansour for another 400 million pounds loan like they did when refurbishing their stadium.

Erling's movement and run, his touch to get it onto his left and the finish were all top class and all accomplished at pace. He is lethal.

Yet he get injured when recent International break happen, did you forget or what. The good thing is you are not our Manager so you will not going to force him to play every single match for 90 full minutes.
