No, sadly, Messi will get his last major personal accolade. If we manage to achieve the treble and haaland scores 60+ goals, do you think he wins the ballon d'or?
Luckily I tend to avoid this place when in that humour. Especially if we've just lost.Jesus. I wouldn't like to see you when you're being a tw@.
I have never seen a player with better movement off the ball in watching live football since 1968. Haaland is astonishing and you can't capture his brilliance on TV. I was gutted when he went off at half time (the right decision obviously). He is never offside. He totally destroyed those two defenders yesterday. It wasn't really more than a half chance but Haaland made it look easy. No, sadly, Messi will get his last major personal accolade.
But I think if Haaland maintains (or improves on) this level next season he will win it, even playing for us.
And, to be honest, it’s probably best for him and us that he doesn’t win it in his first season with City.
I could watch this goal all day....perfectionHaaland’s movement and vision (and instinctual finishing, almost always picking the right technique for the situation) is the definition of world class.
Anyone saying he is a #TapinMerchant is bitter, stupid, or both.

Some on here don’t, but going off social media the general consensus is he has to and surely he will if we at least champions league. If we manage to achieve the treble and haaland scores 60+ goals, do you think he wins the ballon d'or?
Don’t think anything takes it off Messi, even if I think Haaland deserves it on merit. Some on here don’t, but going off social media the general consensus is he has to and surely he will if we at least champions league.
It's annoying. The ballon d'or normally should be awarded to the outstanding player throughout the season. But because of messi's "fairytale" ending and the award basically being a popularity contest, its most likely messi'sSome on here don’t, but going off social media the general consensus is he has to and surely he will if we at least champions league.
I think this is his trademark goal. It's a perfect combination of pace, technique and finishing.Haaland’s movement and vision (and instinctual finishing, almost always picking the right technique for the situation) is the definition of world class.

And that little fake run like he was going to the defender’s right which made the centreback and fullback let off a bit is undervalued.I think this is his trademark goal. It's a perfect combination of pace, technique and finishing.
Then he’s just winning it because of his name and that wouldn’t surprise me with football. He wasn’t even the best player at the World Cup.Don’t think anything takes it off Messi, even if I think Haaland deserves it on merit.
I agree, but the Ballon d’Or is rarely about who deserves it the most, unfortunately. Then he’s just winning it because of his name and that wouldn’t surprise me with football. He wasn’t even the best player at the World Cup.
Not sure what world cup you were watching. He was on a different level at timesThen he’s just winning it because of his name and that wouldn’t surprise me with football. He wasn’t even the best player at the World Cup.
I was watching the one where mbappe was clearly the better player, single handedly dragged France back into the final on his own.Not sure what world cup you were watching. He was on a different level at times
Didn’t influence his team as much as Messi did throughout though. Messi was playing amazing passes as well as bagging vital goalsI was watching the one where mbappe was clearly the better player, single handedly dragged France back into the final on his own.
