Football doesn’t work like that. I’d argue any half decent striker would score in this side (not to the same extent as erling) but plenty would also give us more with the ball, hold up play etc. it’s not as simplistic as you imply

He's absolutely slated a guy who's been incredible for us.
If he isn't a rag he's definitely a dickhead.
 
Just because HE scores a lot of goals, it doesn’t make us a great team.
Think Kane and Shearer, not many winners medals there.
The team scored more goals in the seasons before he arrived.
We used to have so much more movement and more goals from our front 6.
Current Liverpool, Arse, Chelsea and others play that way.
We’ve digressed to 2 wingers who can’t score and a big man through the middle.
 
Need to know it’s possible he could be one of the 6/7 that leave in the summer like the rest of them. Laughing is unforgivable.
 
He may as well not play at the moment. He’s offering nothing and in turn the rest of them are offering him nothing. He's been playing on his heels because he’s not expecting the ball to come in somewhere he can use it.

How can we have a lad in the team that has proven he can finish and slow our game down so much it nullifies his strengths? He does need to be more aggressive in the box. He doesn’t challenge, he doesn’t try to get in front of the defender. We know he can do and that’s the frustrating thing for me. I really don’t think this is a complicated one to fix.

Not overly impressed with him joking with Salad after their 2nd goal, but I’m not going to fall out of my pram over it.

I’ve said in this thread more than once, we either need to play to his strengths or not play him.

Watch the sequence again. When they got a pen. Erling ran over to our akewper. Put his arm around him and whispered something.

Then keeper almost saves the pen.

Then the pen scorer walks over to Erling to say something like ' you told him where to go, didn't you?

Made sense to me and I understood him chuckling like 'almost.'

Nothing to it. The problem was Dias and Walker acting like Calamity Joe

That laughing and joking with opposition players in such an inept performance was slightly annoying today.

Poor movement and work rate all day, buts its ok to have a giggle with Van Dijk and Salah
