Overall game was very good today, one brilliant linkup play. Its very easy to dismiss it but when he's receiving balls pumped into him with 3 surrounding him it's very hard to retain possession but he does it very well. Looked so much more at it then he did midweek where he looked very lethargic and like covid had zapped all energy from him. Can't complain about him not scoring as we didn't create a real chance for him.

Wouldn't take Souness' punditry seriously.
I agree but on this I have to say he is right
What I wouldn’t give for a lewandowski or someone of that style .we would have games won by half time instead of sweating on a second goal like we are

Thought he was great, you cannot even criticise him for missing his chances as there weren't any for him today. Yeah, maybe Aguero would have got to one or two on his own or via his own movement, but hey... Jesus on the other hand created some lovely layoffs and chances for others, and generally his link-up play and close control was top notch. Given he missed matches and trainings due to COVID, that was more than OK for me. Surprised to see the usual weird reaction.
