Got us finishing on 87 points. Whether that will be enough may depend the Chelsea v Arse game. Chelsea win that and we may lose the title by 1 pt.

City 87
(draw to Arse, Liverpool, Everton - win the rest)
Chelsea 86
(draw to Arse - win the rest)
Liverpool 85
(draw to City - win the rest)
Arsenal 82//83/85
(draw to Chelsea, City and fuck knows against Everton - win the rest)

There's probably going to be a few crazy Chelsea v Villa results tho, just hope non of them involve us. Palace away and that **** Pulis screams upset and I'm not too confident about Southampton and Villa at home

If your predictions come true (which we they can't as Liverpool and Chelsea still play each other and they can't both win)

Chelsea would actually finish on 88 with one draw and 7 wins
Liverpool would finish on 87 points

So we would actually be 2nd or 3rd depending on goal difference.

However like I said it can't happen the way you have predicted it.

Must have gone for Liverpool v Chelsea being a draw but forgot to mention it

Playing the "lesser teams" at home is almost banked points whilst the away games we can play like finals.
Any team that assumes that playing the "lesser teams" at home is 3 points every time, especially at this stage of the season, will get what they deserve, f**k all. The same applies to the derby.

We have to approach every game like a final now, if we do (and its not how we approached last years FA Cup final), then I'm confident we'll win it. Talk of winning it at Everton (somewhere we rarely win) is all fine and well, but its not realistic, and bordering on the sort of arrogance that we have despised the rags for decades for.

One game at a time, we have some minor room for manoeuvre right now, but a silly slip up (see Chelsea) is still easy to make.

Maybe I didn't put my point across well.

We are purely discussing the percentage chances of winning, No? If we are of the mind that anything can happen in any game (which I agree with) then there is no point in discussing the games left theoretically.

If we look at "lesser" teams at home then surely they are the ones within the biggest percentage chance of three points? poorly described as "bankers" but you get my point.

Having "bigger" teams at home and "lesser" teams away gives more chance for error in my book. If you look at the psychology of "lesser" team managers they always state " we have to win our home games" - its a mindset they have and will play like men possessed at home - that's why I think playing them at home is better. They might try for a point and get stuffed.

Conversely, playing away at Arsenal will have them shitting bricks as the pressure is on them more than us.

Just my opinion

Come on Chelsea!

87 points will win it outright 86 gives on the last day due to a superior GD. 85 will get us runners up.
Either way its going down to the last day in my opinion.

It seems destined to. I'm worried about Liverpool's GD mind......

What the players need to realise is Arsenal with an injury ravished squad and Moyes' United are so so much more winnable than Liverpool and Everton.

We have a tendency to ease off when we have "breathing space", they need to realise that even if Chelsea drop points this weekend we still have none because going to Anfield needing a win could be so painful.

Come on Chelsea!

That would rather pile the pressure on them.

Win the next two and 7 wins from 9 games sounds a lot better. Let's just beat Fulham today and hope we get a few favours.

The team talk today and before every match is simple...
"Today is the start of an 11 games season. Do you want to win the biggest trophy in Europe ? Do you want to be seen as the best ? If you do go out and do it today"

Just repeat that 11 times and we will be home and dry.
