They definitely raise their game against the top teams but I reckon they'll drop a few points here and there that we wouldn't expect, also got a new kind of pressure to deal with now they're in it for real, happened to us and we came so close to blowing it but got it together at the end, just!
Your dead right pal, who would of thought villa were going to beat chelsea? Its is as much about holding your nerve as anything else. Football is so unpredictable that no game is a given. Were in a title fight run in(something we only use to dream off) lets not just enjoy it, lets be positive, have faith and savior every minute of it, up the blues. Ps dont rule utd out coz they always come good second half of the season
Ah yes, more mythical propaganda for the brain dead red masses, they don't lose semi finals either and give their managers time, though I do seem to remember a few before Ferguson, here's hoping they give Frank Davey Boy Spencer all the time in the world

Apart from the 4 tough away games at Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton we have at least 1 difficult home game v Southampton. Of these I think the key game if we are to win the title, is Liverpool away, especially if Chelsea beat Arsenal next weekend, and then as I believe they will, Liverpool beat Chelsea at Anfield a few weeks later.

I think Liverpool are possibly the main opponents for the Title, as Arsenal are a little bit more vulnerable with Walcott, Ramsay and Ozil currently injured (Hopefully still unavailable when we go to the Emirates in a couple of weeks)

We should (unless the team doses off like it did against Wigan) be able to beat Palace away and Fulham, WBA, Sunderland, West Ham and Villa at home. We cannot afford to drop a single point from any of our home games.

Thought - if Utd finish outside of the top 6 they will not play in Europe at all next season, hope that does not have the same effect on them next season as it has with Liverpool this season !

Just to add a bit of context, the biggest winning streak this season is us with 8. After that is Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool (current) with 5. The league record is 14 which Liverpool would have to match if we get 9 wins.

So Liverpool will drop points in the run in, Arsenal will, we will, Chelsea will.

Just top 6. One spot for the league, one for the league cup (which goes to 6th as we won it) and one for the FA Cup, which will go to the winners (or runners up if Arsenal win).

It shouldn't unless finishing outside of the top 6 means inheriting half a dozen world class midfielders and defenders...

I honestly think United are finished for a few years to come. That performance yesterday was abject, unbelievable. They looked like zombies. Moyes has got a huge job on his hands. Gotta admit, Liverpool worry me now. They've got this amazing momentum going. I don't see us getting anything at their place, honestly. If we pick up a point at the Emirates, beat the rags, win all our home games, we can do this. Bonus would be one point at Everton. Three would be huge.

You think they'll take 9 points from Cardiff, Norwich and palace?? I've done my predictions, they'll finish around the 80pts mark IMO!!!

Mr. Optimistic,

I'd say realist actually, you have them down to win every last one of those games, correct? So we shall see, I'd certainly take your money should you wish to wager on your prediction?????

If we get our pace and swagger back we have a very good chance.
If we don't we haven't. Not with Rags, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Palace away. They will all be tough and I can see us easily dropping 5-9 points with our form since Spurs (A).
Southampton (H) and Palace (A) will not be easy either.

I'd rather have their fixtures than ours.
