Bit of a negative attitude that.I can see us beating Wigan,Burnley,Brum,Villa and Spurs.The rags and Arsenal we can gain a point in each game and at least a point in the West Ham game.Ok that's only 18 points,but the others will drop points as well.Liverpool have 6 games left.On paper they have the easiest run it,but Birmingham are capable of beating them this week.so i reckon they'll pick up another 15 points.That will leave us two point in front of the scousers.

I see Spurs losing to us and the rags,also dropping points at home to Arsenal and Chelsea,they'll draw at Sunderland and beat both Bolton and Burnley.That gives them 9 points finishing on 67.Fourth spot is City's.

Didn't you say yesterday that Liverpool had near enough for 4th place despite them having 6 games left, being 4 points behind Spurs and having a game in hand? Lets face it for the scousers to get 4th they'd have to win 5 of their last 6 and with their away record how could anyone be confident of them doing that?

It wasn't over 4 weeks ago, we're still in with a great shout of 4th especially with a win tonight. Win tonight and we'll be 2 points behind 4th having played the same number of games, how can you come to the conclusion is was over 4 weeks ago?

Just been on the BBC predictor website. Of course we have to win everything we can, tonight, Spuds and Derby all essential, but from a Spuds PoV the key seems to be their game at Arsenal at home, then Chelsea at home 3 days later. If they lose both and we beat the scum the same day they lose to Chelsea, we could be 5 point clear.

We then have Arsenal away and they have Scum away, then we are both at home with us Villa and them Bolton, before us vs them.

We keep ourselves in it until they play their two London rivals, take care of our own results, and they could sh*t it. Really could. I had us potentially level on points with Liverpool by the Spuds game, plus a game in hand. We beat Spuds, go 8 points clear of them and 3 clear of Liverpool, needing just a point against West Ham last game. Oh, and I had Chelsea 1 pt clear one game left with Wigan last game at home (that includes if Liverpool beat Chelsea at home) ;)

imo Liverpool are still the far bigger threat to us for 4th.

Just in case you don't remember. Liverpool have not won away in the leauge since December. They have failed to beat Pompey, Wigan and Wolves away from home this season so while it might seem easy on paper no away game is easy for Liverpool the way they are playing
