He's a really sound guy and we got on pretty well. He's going to come on the normal podcasts later in the season. Potentially he'll do the one right after Barca away which should be epic.

Looking forward to it, I preordered his new book last night after listening to that podcast. It's a pretty sensational coup to get him on mate so kudos.

Nice one. Took a few months to come together though he's a busy guy.

Thanks mate. Honestly the interview with Marti was the best thing I've done since I started the pod. He was such an open and honest guy, loved the way he spoke about Pep and our future. Can't think of anyone who doesn't work at City who'd know as much about Pep and his plans as him.

I'm not the best at doing stuff like this but if you're interested in Guardiola as a coach or as a person you should definitely check it out.

Really enjoyed the pod and fair to say Marti know his onions.

I've got a feeling that there's been some kind of conversation about doing a book about his time at City. Lets put it this way, Marti has already spent some time with Pep in Manchester and will be doing so again in the next few weeks. As much as they're mates sounded very much to me like they were meeting up in a professional capacity.

Lovely listen mate. Some of the stuff he revealed about Pep's character and tactics was astounding really. His thoughts were refined and very clear, surprisingly. Though I think he couldn't manifest his answer to my question like he wanted to , which is nothing really.
I hope you do more of this in the future, maybe with someone from the academy or staff if possible?

Yeah it's easily the best thing I've done since the podcast started. Talking to Marti is probably as near as I'll get to talking to Pep for the foreseeable future!

It's a very good interview. Some very interesting snippets.

I'm sure his next two books will be worth reading and I cannot for one moment imagine he will not a some point do a book on Pep's time at City. Things are rarely boring at City so there is bound to be a good book in there.

Enjoy the podcasts generally; although I haven't listened to every one but I am trying to listen more regularly.

I really hope this comes to fruition. Pep Confidential was a fantastic read and I had hoped a book would be written about Peps time at City.
