Who listens/subs to 93:20?
I sub to it on and off depending on the time of year/mood etc. and would like to natter about what's going on in it (or not).

One question that bugs me about it:
Is it Ashan or Howard who own it?
It seems to be the former but ran by the latter

Looking forward to the review of PSG.

(mods, if we have a thread for this podcast please delete/merge/incinerate...)

I subscribe and have done since they first set up , it’s the best city podcast out there even though I don’t always agree with their opinions

Not sure on the owner question

They are both on here

Ahsan is Billyshears and Howard is don Howe

Same here . Although very occasionally they 'shoot from the hip', almost always when I disagree with their opinions the opinion is clearly thought out and makes sense.

I saw one their crew on the tram to the game a couple of weeks ago. I think it was one of the Lloyd's. They've more Lloyd's than ladies on the pod. Need to get @kaz7 on there for some balance

PSG Review.

Liked this podcast. Ashan and Dom (?) looked into the PSG defeat and unavoidably ended up talking about the squad management which has let the team down so badly.

Dunno who Dom is. The Podcast description says nothing but he was really good and was able to talk in depth and with knowledge.

Shout out to @Prestwich_Blue

I was on a business trip and listened to you giving your history of the time around the takeovers.
Fantastic contribution.
Some of my favorite ever city podcasts.

The Chelsea review was absolute quality.
Just Ashan and Lloyd dissecting the game with knowledge and passion. Really enjoyed it and I think Lloyd Scragg is probably the shows best guest ATM.

The Brugge review was ok.
Same format as the Chelsea review but with Steven McInerney.
Steve is ok but has verbal overrun. He talks like he's on a words-minute contract. Less would be more.

The Friday show got better the longer it went on. Stephen Tudor is an odd sausage. Reminds me of that cringey uncle you have who has a habit of chatting shit about something he knows fuck all about. However I do like him as a foil for the more in-depth guests such as Lloyd. It gives balance.
Nice of Howard to apologise for cutting off the guests as he always does. I wonder if his speakers are broken, he's part deaf or just likes steamrolling the discussions.
I find his habit of asking a question then immediately blocking the response by babbling on with his own answer to a point where everyone has forgotten what he was originally asking to be annoying.

I treat the Friday show as freebie fluff so it's not important really who's killing it on any given week. The reviews and other stuff (market pods in particular) are why I subscribe.

Do you have to pay to listen?

Friday show is free.
The rest is (usually) paywalled.
Ah thought so, thanks.
I knew there was a reason why I didn’t bother. I recall that David Mooney/Sam Lee one going behind a paywall too. I find I can get equally informed/expert (or not) opinions on City on here tbh, so it doesn’t tempt me really.
I listen to the Times podcast which is free most Thursday (basically whenever Martin Samuel is on), but don’t bother otherwise.

Interesting to read your views on the presenters though!

I like listening to podcasts whilst walking the dog and I like Ashan and most of his guests enough to pony up a few quid a month.

In fairness, the reviews etc are (imho) excellent. Most other city podcasts (The man city show, ramble, talking city, etc) which I listen to are just fluff. Nothing more than a few mates talking about the game. 93:20 is much better than that (mostly).

I don't always sub. But I've done so these last few months as we've been so interesting (!) as a club.

There's a few people involved in it but ultimately Ahsan is the boss. All of the people involved in it are posters on here (or former posters).

Superb podcast, been listening since the very beginning. All the guys on there are very good, they know their stuff and talk with passion and humour. 100% worth the small subscription fee.
But, playing the advocate of the devil, how are those guys any more informed than those that post on here? I’d say nothing or less so.

@slbsn used to be on it before he got famous. He was a bit of a happy clapper though to be honest and the other hosts had to reign in his overly optimistic pronouncements constantly.

I still remember that one time @Damocles was on.

Some of them have connections in the media - I think one of the Lloyd's works for the BBC. Ahsan has UEFA coaching badges and Howard knows the guy that blows the leaves off the pitch at the Etihad.
