Why couldn’t they have rewarded fans who have had season tickets the longest.Received an invitation but think it’s too expensive for me. I wonder if there’ll be many takers for this? There is also a separate ‘fan’ celebration at Depot Mayfield. £5 entry.

The club don't give a shit you've been a ST holder for donkeys years pal. However, they do care whether your wallet is fat enough for the occasion, or not.Why couldn’t they have rewarded fans who have had season tickets the longest.

Or, a lad i know who is hardcore City tbf,but gets 3 to 4 away tickets for any away game,courtesy off his dads box.

There are 2 events, one at Mayfield Depot and the other, more expensive dinner, at the Legends Suite. Mayfield Depot can only accommodate 2000 and there's probably 10 times that number who've had a season card for 10 years or longer. So a ballot is the only fair way to do it.
The thing that we (City Matters) would have done differently is charge a bit more, say £10 or £15, with 2 or 3 free drinks. The problem with charging a fiver is that people are more likely to buy tickets if successful then not turn up. By making it more expensive up-front, you reduce that risk. But the club ignored us.
