During a night where society seems to be collapsing before our eyes, I thought I would share something with you about our beloved MCFC.
I attended my uncle's funeral today. He was a big blue for over 60 years, but over 18 months ago he was diagnosed with cancer and given 6 months to live. He managed to hang for so long but after a few false dawns, he finally passed away last week. In his last few weeks of his life, he had to go into a hospice to be cared for. City were made aware of this and whilst he was there, they sent Mike Summerbee over to see him, with the FA Cup, so he could he hold it before he passed away.
This makes me so proud of my club and was glad that he managed to see City win the cup and for him to share in that celebration.
RIP Alex
