Most reasonable response to my post I think and agree with them not being mutually exclusive. I'm more just wary of handing more powers to the Police, especially those with the potential to seriously injure someone.
I mean, even specially trained intel, recon and armed teams conspired to shoot an innocent man in the JCDM case, the followed it up by lying through their teeth about it. Never mind giving them the right to drive at speed into bike riders - my main point being, it's all well and good saying "good on em" until the first cock up where they kill or paralyze an innocent person doing it

So how do you propose we deal with this type of individual?

As I understand it they only target riders who have refused to stop when asked by plod.
This in itself is a criminal offence so they won’t hit anyone innocent will they?

As bad as it is. I remember Salford lads doing shit like this in the 80’s/90’s. Criminals using mopeds/motorbikes is nothing new.
I seem to remember Hurleys near Piccadilly Station getting done on a Saturday afternoon with 100’s of shoppers about whilst they casually emptied the shop of its designer gear.
We’re just seeing more of it due to everyone having videoing equipment on them and social media to share the footage.

people should never really get involved and try to be come superman its the police job and what if he's got a gun or knife its no good being a dead superman to your wife or kids,not all young people are going around on mopeds doing wrong and we have seen the police mistake somebody because he is wearing the same colour helmet and jacket so its a dodgy road the police have taken in knocking people of there bikes, its the stake of Britain and the laws of the land and the power the gangs have over the police

the punishment is just not there and its from the early age that they get away with crime the PC brigade have took punishment out of the hands of parents and discipline and respect and a good old slap or belt from somebody, yes its shocking to see but you know what maybe its that shock of seeing that put's the image in somebody head and just maybe will stop it happening in the first place, you bet he will thinks twice in doing it again and punishment and hurt is part of life and how can you just send somebody to bed anymore

police need to find away of bring back control and if its punishment that hurts then what is wrong with that maybe a controlled good old slap or a belt in public will make them think twice, corporal punishment and the birch would make good morning tv
