A constant queue of cars at MacDonalds - Am I missing out on something?

I have McDonald's maybe once every half a dozen years, and I never enjoy it.

I don’t get the obsession, it’s not even nice. The “meat” is surely close to being inedible?

Yet there are people who answer the question “what would your last meal be?” with “Maccies!”.

It's the fear of missing out, PC, and following like sheep.

Unfortunately we have imported this fast food culture from America , you only have to see how fucking fat we have become as a nation , queuing up for a Mac Donald’s ? Not in this life or another

That’s exactly it.

McDonald’s food is designed to be addictive.

Ive made an effort and have not had it since July last year.

2 years for me. Refuse to even buy a soda from there.

It's funny. I remember going to McD's with my then-girlfriend about 1976 when they were new. We agreed the burgers were wonderful.

Whenever I've tried them since, I've thought them shit, even compared to the likes of Burger King, which is not exactly a high bar.

As my old economics teacher used to say "Tastes have changed." I wonder if it's an age thing, and if I was 23 again I'd think they were fine?

I'm always amazed to see girls from the flats across a busy dual carriageway come into our local Asda to use the MacDonalds. They're usually in onesies and slippers as well, so too lazy to even get dressed. The world is fucked.

It really is mind boggling how long people are prepared to sit in their cars so they can get their hands on a burger.
