A desperate plea!

I've already posted this in the Spurs thread on the ticketing forum, but time is against me.

It's a long story, which I'm happy to tell anyone who'll listen, but the crux of it is this: I have a good friend coming over from Canada, landing at Gatwick at 6am tomorrow. He's coming specifically for the Villa and Spurs games. He's a Canadian lad I met in a hostel in Barcelona about 7 years ago (sounds dodgy!) who didn't have a clue about football. Anyway, needless to say, he got converted to all things Blue and he's now a big City fan.

The problem is, on the morning of the Derby, I got a call from the bank telling me they had put a stop on my card as they had reason to believe it had been cloned. This has meant I haven't been able to get a couple of tickets for each game as by the time I got the replacement, both games had sold out.

If anyone can PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out, I'd be eternally grateful, and would be happy to get a few beers in. Even one ticket, just for my friend, would be really appreciated.

After what this board did for Gordon Love, I felt it couldn't hurt to have a go.

Cheers lads.

Sounds a bit dodgy, I grant you. I can provide evidence if anyone thinks it's a wind up!

Bump. (Not sure if it will with only an edit though!?)

-- Thu Apr 29, 2010 12:37 pm --

Hello City Fans

I am the Canadian in question. I would be more than happy to add a few beers to Paul's offer. He introduced me to City in the days of Anelka and Robbie Fowler. It's been a few years now and times are better for city. I'm headed to the airport in a couple hours.

If you'd like to verify my Canadian-ness, you can check me on facebook i guess under Mathew M Farmer.
Any help would completely appreciated.

Mathew

I am the Canadian in question. My name is Mathew and I'm from Toronto.

My friend Paul introduced me to proper football / soccer a few years back. He introduced me to City in the days of Anelka and Robbie Fowler. Times are better for City now. I'm flying out today and landing at Gatwick 6am Friday and will be in England until the 6th.
I'd appreciate any help finding tickets.
I can prove my Canadian-ness.
