where's the best place in manc for a good steak,my lad is 13 today and loves steak so going to take him for one for tea....

We had basically the same thread as this yesterday. I think Gaucho Grill was the best recommended. I prefer Sams Chop house though.

just seen that thread but i want specifically steaks and anywhere in gtr manc but ideally not the city centre

Why not the City Centre?

If its because of parking, go to Pau Brazil because you can park at Toys R Us (City Centre Retail Park) and walk. Its only literally 2 mins walk mate.

yes it was because of the parking, just checking out a few reviews of the place and i might just give it a go for our tea

Isn't any in the North yet, but when they do roll out up here, look out for 'Miller and Carter' steakhouses. If you like steaks, you will not be disappointed, trust me. My wife's pub company she works for are doing them, and they are WAY beyond, 'pub food'. Went to one last week outside Wolverhampton, and it was great. It was just like steakhouses I have been in in America, but not in any cheesy way, just great service, atmosphere, and even better steaks. Can't recommend enough.

Be careful parking in places like retail parks and goin' for meals ...... a lot of them have two hour maximum stays now an' you'll get booked ........ a bloke took his family into pizzaland somewhere or other a few weeks back , took his time eatin' his meal as it was his sons birthday treat , an' came out to find a ticket on his car window for spendin' longer than the alloted time parked up on pizzalands own car park !(an outside private firm patrolled it)
