Let's not forget people he's a 19 year old boy thrust into a level of scrutiny that very of us could handle never mind handle as a kid. He's going to make impetuous mistakes in public but he will grow out of them with the right support and as he gets life experience.

More importantly can he offer something on the pitch for City? Yes and with age on his side we could have a real star in the making. He's scored more goals than others did a his age and has more ability at his age too. In short, he could be our Rooney if you like but clearly he'll be better - as he won't have been tainted by wearing a ManUre shirt....... ;o)

how can you say dzeko is a safe bet? he aint played in the prem either.any player who has not played in the prem is a risk, but RM knows the lad well,he brought him up.
RM knows this kid well and that will do for me.

Dzeko won't moan and whine every single time something doesn't go his way like Balotelli does, and if Balotelli kicks off and does a Robbie on us(which he is capable of) then we've lost another £30m, and for a club that needs to be sustainable and in fair play rules then that's a massive write-off.

Like I said, if he does well and doesn't cause trouble, then I will get behind him and support him like I did Bellers, but he has to prove he is mature enough to play well consistantly and keep his mouth shut, because after Inter he has to prove it was a one club issue.

i think RM knows what he his doing.he his trying to buy a striker who in 2-3 seasons could be the best striker in the world.

an thats the bottom line coz stone cold said so. ;)

Also can we stop putting £30 million, it wont even be close to 30 million euros nevermind pounds.

If i was to guess i think we'd pay £21-23million thats with bonuses...

Some reports today are around that figure and 16-18 upfront for this kid seems worth it. We have not been ripped off once this transfer window, we're not starting now.

I'd take the gamble at £16-18 million + performance & achievement related bonuses, but anything over £23-24 million worries me.

but i dont know where you got £30 million from.... If it was the Mirror or the Mail, never believe them on prices.

I only had the Mail while I was away so yeah, but they also said we'd already signed Kolorov so...:S

I'd pay £30m for Balotelli. You don't get the chance to sign someone with this kind of potential very often, you have to take the chance when you do. The scum did with Rooney, this is similar

Why would you worry? Is it your money?

Yeah they seem to get decent exclusives etc, but everytime they put one of our transfers in they add 5-10 million.... Yaya was 28 million in one paper then the day after Barcelona's new president said they got 23 million Euros for Yaya, ...£19million...

No one wants disruptive players at City but this kid has too much of the good stuff to ignore... If we support him instead of giving him shit, day one, then i can only see good things... the parallels with Rooney are scary... The only extra risk on our part is he's not played in the Prem.
