A little bully: Advice please.

I suggest you ask the little chap to come over and play with your two and bring his mother, perhaps over dinner...

A couple of glasses of wine, Barry White on the cassette deck, candles on the table, the giddy aroma of new love in the air - you'll soon forget about the pesky kids..

LOL!

I honestly thought you were gonna suggest smashing her back doors in, in front of him!!

I know, I know...
I thought that's what he meant too

Mummy mummy, make him stop.

Oh I see,
Just had a word in his shell, flat out denied everything till my lads mate come over and basically called him a liar.
I basically said how would you like it, no one likes a bully etc.
Hopefully that's the end of it.
Little shit. Bet he's a rag too.
Tell him you'll spread rumours on social media that he fucks chickens.

Haha @ some of the replies on here... Great memories as a kid :D

To the OP - teach your elder son to defend himself, you'll find it reaps rewards as he gets older as the local dickhead kids won't want to throw stones at him (or his younger brother) as he'll develop some street cred haha...

alternatively find out where this problem kid lives, go around to his parents and have a word with his Father.... "if your son behaves like that around my kid again I'll be stamping on your head" if it's the mother then smash her back doors in :D

He never has any trouble mate, he's popular with the older lads, can hold his own playing footy with them and he's not a bad little player either.
As I said I don't want him scrapping all the time and this has never happened before, hopefully won't happen again.

Classic nature versus nurture conundrum, his caregiver probably never gave him the one to one attention in the critical first 12 months and this is manifesting in outbursts of understandable aggressive conflicts with his peers. I suggest a lenient softly softly approach with a praise built strategy encompassing the whole social group.

Translates as. Smash the little prick over the head with a hand knitted bowl of lentils.

Don't forget the cous cous and a rolled up copy of The Guardian ;-)

Offer to have a game of football with him, tell him he can be Gazza and you can be Vinnie Jones......

One of the hardest things about being a dad nowadays is this sort of thing. School now is uber-pc and all about respecting each other which is lovely until some little **** decides to play the hard man. Sadly the days when a bit of 'natural justice' prevailed and you could teach your son to stand up to bullies and defend themselves have gone. Now it's all 'tell teacher' which is fine unless the bully doesn't give a fuck and neither do his parents. My eldest is one of lifes gentle souls, but I always find it difficult to say the 'right' things when all I realy want to say is poke the fucker in the eye, kick him in the bollocks, and then the head while he's on the ground. Not so worried about our youngest - he's a right little twat and gives at least as good as he gets.
