About all the cash coming into the premiership right now to those clubs. Which in turn means that all these clubs around us fighting for the same players, and makes it more difficult to bring in the talent we need.

Okay we have a head start on the likes of Sunderland and Pompey but still you have to be concerned that if Pompey manage to pull in a decent manager from somewhere we may have problems ahead. Hate to be the voice of reason but the thought has crossed my mind that if there are anymore such take overs to the likes of West Ham and Fulham springing to mind we may problems ahead next term.

Will be very interesting if Pompey/Sunderland get a big name manager and start having early success in the prem. Could give the Arabs itchy feet and question their long term approach.

Certainly puts Hughes under more pressure...

We have more money than all the prem put together, what's the problem ?

Arabs dont get itchy feet...they try harder.

The only thing in their power would be to replace Hughes though...

Depends when really, money is no good in September...

Also, if we struggle to attract players because they aren't bothered about playing for Hughes but go elsewhere where there is a big named manager then more money won't count...
