A machete attack to head doesn't count as attempted murder??

Sort of.. i mean, you hear the word machete and you think of a massive hacking blade, and of course forcefully striking a person with one would demand an attempt of murder charge.. atleast to any normal thinking people anyway, who know that blades are usually sharp..

But a blunt machete? Im just saying there's a grey area there.

Imagine hitting someone with a machete you knew to be blunt.. this machete is old, and cut through many an ear of wheat.. as well as and bamboo sticks and elephant tusks..this type of machete is probably more closely related to what people call a bat, a bat you might hit a ball with.. nobody gets charged with attempted murder of balls do they?
Ha there is no grey area, just a head sliced to bits
