Let's use this thread to show our support to the boys for Saturdays game. Tomorrow Ill send it to as many people at City as I can with the hope someone will pass it on to the players and staff.

So as a fan if you were giving that final speach before they walk on the pitch what would you want to say to them? Here's mine.....

Saturdays game is one of the biggest in my 35 years on this earth as a City fan, it is so much more than a game, winning this match against the enemy could be the catalyst for our club and be the start of hopefully the most successful period in our history. Win this and win the FA Cup then you all will go down in that history. We deserve this, 35 years is too long for a special club like us to be waiting for a trophy and the joy this one would bring to every one of us will be immeasurable. Battle boys, give everything you have got and leave everything out on the pitch, we will be behind you from the stands all the way and together we WILL be victorious. City Till We Die....

You've changed, Danny. Corporate man, now, eh ;)

It's not the biggest game in my 35 years though.

Only a title decider or cup final would come close to what was at stake in 99.

If we lose, we lose.

We will lose plenty more games, bigger than this one, I believe in the coming years ahead.

2 sleeps................2 soddin sleeps, if the players understand the importance of winning this game for the fans, then times it by a thousand and they might be getting close. Sweat blood for us because we will put everything into for you. Show us some love.................

this is definately our time to get revenge on that team from stretford we have the players to go all the way in this competition and would mean everything to club but most importantly to the fans who have suffered for 35years. come onnnnnnnnnn cityyyyyyyyyyy

I think the banner that says play like we dream sums it up for me.

I don't care how we win, just so long as we do. I don't care if all the press moan that we parked the bus for 120 minutes and played for penalties which we win. I don't care if our winning goal should have been flagged for offside, hits the both posts, the back of Van der thingys head and didn't cross the line so long as we win. Don't leave Wembley thinking 'what if' because if we do we will have lost

The final in 99 was bigger, this is just another tie in the competition. The biggest game will be the final if we beat United. Stoke or Bolton won't be mugs though.

After Monday anyway, the players shouldn't need any messages of support. They should be forced to watch the entire 90 minutes every day this week, including Saturday morning. That should be enough to make them say to themselves 'we can do better'.

Maybe it isn't TH but at this point in time it feels like it!

As for a corporate man? HA I only know the email adresses for the cleaner and the a guy behind the Sumerbee bar but that's not the point ;O)

To all the players.

I am currently cycling around world. Due to being in the middle of nowhere, Litang, Western China, I have located a tv, two days bus ride from where i currently am , showing the match. Hence, I have hopped on that bus to watch the game.
Just give it your 110% and show us blues your worthy of the shirt.

At least don't lie to the players - you're clearly 45! ;)

"No-one cares if you win, in fact we'd rather lose, just save yourself for next weekend".

Reverse psychology you see! ;)
