A new Generation of City fans

Fellow Little Hultoner here. I must be in the minority having a family of City neighbours living next door to me, it's a rarity I ever see any blues round here (Was the only City fan in my year in Primary...that number scarcely increased in High school) everywhere else is a mix between United and Bolton the latter of which I don't mind too much. Fingers crossed you've converted a few, but wouldn't hold your breath!

The young Blues have never had it so good. Think of how some of us over 30 have grown up with years of inconsistent rubbish!

Hi Lads and Lasses,

Today I am hoping to be introducing a new 'generation' of City supporters to the fold!! The Primary school I am involved with from Little Hulton, Salford will be visiting the Etihad today.

Their football team got through to the semi-final of a tournament with a visit to London for the final as the prize. Unfortunately their two star players were out injured on the semi-final day and they lost. I had told them before the match that they would have been better having the final at the Etihad anyway!! So I spoke to the lovely people at City and they arranged for the lads plus their two coaches to be at today's match and to have the school name on the big screen at half time and in the programme.

If you see me around with a group of school boys come over and say hullo, we are meeting in City Square before the match and then they are off to the East Stand and I am off to my beloved Colin Bell stand!! Show the lads and especially one of their teachers who is a Liverpool season ticket holder, that City fans are the greatest.

Thank you. I am so proud of these lads because this is their first season trying for these trophies. All under eleven so hopefully we will persuade them all to support the best team in the land in all the world!! :-)

Mods, if this is the wrong forum I apologise. But I am so excited............... I know, daft old woman time again!!!
Did they enjoy it?

They did Marvin, they were a bit overawed at first with the crowd but they had a good time. There were about three of them wearing City shirts as well.

Read about this yesterday

We are investigating after a Burglary at a Primary School in Little Hulton.

Overnight between Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd of April, Thieves have broken in to a Little Hulton primary school and stolen 60 iPad airs and 24 Toshiba Laptops. All the property stolen is etched with ‘Peel Hall Primary’, although it is likely this may be filed off prior to being sold on.

We are urging anybody that has any information or is offered for sale this stolen property to please contact us on 101 or the charity Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
