A number of clubs have been given permission to speak to SWP

Sky sports saying Bolton, Sunderland and Wigan have been given permission to SWP.
After his recent performances i would of thought he would of been given a chance, does this mean were in for another right footed winger then?
(please god dont say nasri, for the last time he is not a winger ;) )

yeah probably nasri tbh ;)

its a shame he wants to stay and he's been ace in pre season
 
Will we have enough homegrown players to fill the quota when SWP, Onuoha, and Weiss (loan) are gone next season?

If we replace SWP with Cerci, I predict a riot!
 
Obviously we love him, but he does give away possession too much to be considered a top class player.

If we're preparing to sell SWP that suggests someone else is coming in because the attack is short on pace.
 
Just watched the interview with Bert and I have to agree with him,

1) Pleased club are not pushing him out of the door
2) Bert said there is a place for him if he chooses to stay
3) Shauns ability at the highest level leaves questions.
4) Shaun would always do a superb job for someone
5) Bert loves him and has said decision to leave is up to him because can't guarantee him a place in team or on bench and his playing time will be limited.

I agree it will be sad to lose him but if he goes he is going because he wants to not because club are forcing him out. Hopefully the club will make it easy for him to leave if he chooses to do so.

Always have a special place in my heart for him.
