Every time I bet on his ride it lost!

In that respect, Kieren Fallon won me tons.

Sorry to disagree mate, but I think he's a crooked bastard.
Cost me a treble on that 1 he got done for,Lingfield or Southwell I think.
Can't mind the nags name.
No need to apologize matey. I never thought too much of him after that ban.

Everyone has a Jockey like that, mine was Murtagh after he managed to fall out of the saddle when clear on the home straight in a flat, costing me most of 5k.

Anyway, good riddance to McCoy, legend of a jockey and all that, but never could get a decent price on a horse if he was on it :)

Murtagh always did me alright.

As an Irishman mate I'm interested in your answer, if you needed one to ride for your life over the sticks, would you have Ruby or AP? I always thought that AP was respected but Ruby loved and thought more of.

Ruby everytime, not only because the Friday of the Punchestown festival in 2009 he paid for the deposit on my house :), absolutely brilliant rider, brave as hell, he'd put your heart in your mouth and he'd rarely let you down. Racing will miss Ruby Walsh in the long run more than Tony McCoy in my eyes, although I know plenty will probably disagree with me on that.

Cant argue with AP's record, but Ruby has more big wins, seems a better horseman and i think i'd rather have him as well, but the 2 of them set the standard.

I'll certainly give AP some cheers on the 10th, last Cheltenham, he'll be missed.

Endorse what's been said about Fallon. Decent jockey, but I don't like the bloke. No need to drag a fellow jockey off his mount.

Ruby or AP is a tough call. Ruby probably rides the better horses and a is possibly a better jockey, but for sheer longevity and getting seemingly beaten horses over the line AP shades it for me.

Any ideas of the JP McManus horses AP could ride in the Grand National? AP's horses are always backed off the board for the GN, but his final mount in the race will be mega short. Good opportunity for a decent trade.
